This is a chain restaurant with a single location in Las Vegas and a few others in Arizona and Texas. When I find out a place is a chain I tend to associate that with less delicious food. Reason being chains are often focused on the business system first and food second. In theory, this is what a good business should do. Take a look at McDonald’s; in my opinion they do not make the best hamburgers but they have focused so much on the business system. The product itself takes a backseat. But I’m eating pizzas not businesses. Perhaps its unfair but its an automatic thought process.
The place has a nice atmosphere and was packed around 7pm. They have an outside patio which is great for warm vegas nights. The tables have the classic red and white checkered tablecloths. When you walk in you can see the open kitchen about 10 feet in front of you. The menu is simple and bascially has pizza, calzones, salads, and deserts.
We get a large cheese to taste their pizza straight up. And we also get a large sausage (for the misses, rimshot). The pizza is good. Better than Villa for sure. It’s a little like comparing apples and oranges because this is brick oven pizza which is different from normal pizza. When I think of classic American pizza I don’t think of brick oven. But in it’s own right it is very good. The dough is standout.
