The article goes on to say that pizzerias make up 12.9% of all restaurants in Las Vegas, more than Mexican or Burger/Sandwich joints. Nearly 60% of pizza places in Vegas are independently owned (as opposed to chains) which we like here at BestPizzaInLasVegas.com. The majority of pizza restaurants grossed less than $500K while one grossed over $2.5 million although the article did not say which one.
